I saw Paddy Sherlock and the Paris Swinging Lovers in Shanley’s Bar in Clonakilty recently. Paddy is a trombone player and a great singer, from Dublin, and has been living and playing in Paris for the last 30 years. He had the whole audience in the palm of his hand and the atmosphere was electric.

I just love Paddy’s songs and musicians and music and energy… so when he told me he can also do weddings….!!! I just dream about asking him for mine. Their concert was just as perfect as we expected: fun, loving, true, positive! People still talk about this!

Paris Swinging Lovers perform and organize the music for the Paris GOAL Ball every year, helping to raise more than €35,000 for the famous Irish charity in 2007. Live radio and TV sessions with interviews have included France Inter: Le Pont des Artistes, The Black Sessions, RTL: Concert D’un Soir, FR3: Circle de Minuit, FR2: Taratata, Canal+ Nulle Pars Ailleurs, BBC Radio 3, BBC2 TV: The Blackstaff Sessions, RTE TV: The Late Late Show, Nighthawks, The Gerry Ryan show, RTE Radio: the John Creedon Show, Pat Kenny Live.
