We have amazing Celtic Drummers that play a high-energy set with such impact and style that guests gasp at their skill. Our percussionists can create an electric atmosphere to walk you into the room and set a high-energy tone for the evening.

Another great idea is Irish Dancers, from two performers right up to a large troop of twelve the effect is fantastic. Traditional entertainment like this is tried and tested and by no means inferior when it comes to thrilling your guests.

Choose a real traditional Irish musician like our Uilleann Piper or Our Golden Celtic Traditional Harpist to provide a beautiful soundtrack as guests arrive at the venue or room or use them for backing music as you have the meal. Silent Headphone Disco is not a new concept, we have been supplying silent wireless headphones for over ten years now and are the leaders in this field. The setup is mostly used when there are noise restrictions in place at the venue but these days their popularity is going up as guests realize that this is actually great fun and they can swap between different types of music as they dance.
The normal set up is two channels of music but the headphones can pick up three separate styles of music, for example:
  1. Dance and Pop Charts
  2. Rock and Roll and 70s
  3. Eazy listening and Chill-out
Your DJ can easily supply two music soundtracks at once and just use a phone or tablet playlist for the third channel.
When you see people singing and dancing to different music styles on the dance floor is amusing at first but you soon get into the swing of it when you turn up the volume and get stuck in. Another cool idea is to get about 20 headsets in especially for the kids attending the wedding. Set them up somewhere nice and safe and play the music off your phone, they can bop away and have their own mini disco playing Justin Beiber and Taylor Swift without disturbing the main wedding party. This is a winning wedding idea as the kids are happy and entertained and it’s so easy to set it up.
Will the DJ play the right music on the night? Will he play my playlist? Yes of course he will! but keep in mind that they usually play a little over 20 songs an hour so just pick out your favorites and trust the DJ knows what he is doing.
At a recent wedding, the bride and groom supplied the entire play list for the night and not a single person got up to dance until they gave the DJ permission to mix in popular music that works.
