The Emerald Violinist
Éimear began playing the violin at the age of seven and went on to lead several orchestras, including one of the City of Belfast School of Music’s orchestras and her university orchestra. She holds both a BMus (Hons) degree and a PGCE, and previously worked as a music teacher in the North West of England.
After teaching, she joined The Bogtrotters Band, performing extensively across the UK and Germany. The group was later invited to appear in Demi Moore’s film Half Light, where Éimear and two fellow band members can be seen performing Star of the County Down in the beach scene.
Following this, she toured with major Irish dance and music shows, including the Essence of Ireland tour, which performed prolifically across the UK, and Celtic Rhythms, which toured throughout Holland. In these productions, she performed as lead violinist and backing vocalist, and also featured as a singing soloist in each show.
As a composer and songwriter, her original music has been broadcast and praised on BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Radio Foyle, and BBC Radio Lancashire. Her song “Tommy” reached the semi-finals of the UK Songwriting Contest. Eimear recorded the fiddle part for Bob the Builder’s song ‘Big Fish Little Fish’ (2005).
Alongside her musical career, Éimear has also appeared on screen. She starred as the lead actress in the BBC Education Music and Drama short screenplay Cafe Society, written by Damian Gorman, and also presented the accompanying documentary. She also acted in a scene in the BBC NI series, ‘Home Truths’. Her performances combine the expressive warmth of the violin with both traditional and contemporary influences, creating elegant, atmospheric music for every occasion.

‘In 2014 I spoke to a friend of my in Liverpool and she told me to check Eimear Bradley Music out as I was looking for something different for our wedding, well we went on youtube and Sound Cloud and Facebook and listened to all we could of Eimear, and we booked her for Trim Castle Hotel on 30/12/2014.
It’s safe to say it was one of the best decisions we made as during the meal the crowd were on their feet dancing – making it hard for the waiters to do their job. Eimear played without stopping right throughout the meal and got an amazing reaction.
So when there was an opportunity to do it all again (thank you @yesEquality) we booked a return trip one year to the day in Mount Temple.
I can tell you Eimear did not disappoint and brought the house down!
Anyone out there considering getting married and looking for something and someone special for their day couldn’t do better than this lady.
Paul & I thoroughly enjoyed both occasions and it not often you get to do it twice LOL!’

And blew all our guests away…
All full of smiles, We danced down the aisle,

Her notes filled the room as we said our vow.
Music played sweet for the girl and the boy…
Husband and wife, back on our feet
We skipped down the aisle to Eimear’s fab beat.
The forks hit the plates, the drink wet the lips
The fiddle played, tapping our feet and swinging our hips…
Dessert had been served, oh what a treat,
Eimear was dancing and raising the beat.
Up went the tempo, No longer light hearted
Guests off their seats, the party had started.
