How does it work?
The sax player has a wireless radio microphone and can move away from the DJ and into a different part of the room to spice it up. The sound of the sax comes through the speakers and the volume can be mixed up or down to suit the venue. This has been done with a violin before but a good saxophone player can really add a sparkle to an event as they work the room. When your guests realise that the beautiful sounds they are hearing are actually live they will be suitably impressed by the duo.
It's all about the style, and the atmosphere as this versatile duo performs a really cool selection of vibes and beats. They can read a crowd and know when and where to speed up or slow down the proceedings. At a drinks reception they start off low key and slowly build it up with a selection of cutting edge music. At larger corporate functions they can step it up and provide a solid backing track of cool music to keep the atmosphere just right in the room. Easy listening, soulful music similar to Hotel Costes, Cafe Del Mar, Buddha Bar and more are on offer and the guys are great at adapting to different musical tastes with a selection of Jazzy, World Music and Hip-hop beats. Ultimately they can tailor their set to suit your guests so no one will be disappointed with the entertainment on the night.
Do they bring a PA system?
Yes, it’s for up to 150 people and works perfect in most venues. For larger events it’s easy to upgrade with bass bins and speakers in each corner of the venue to get a bigger sound if required. They can also bring some simple moving light effects to create additional atmosphere. They can perform for up to two hours with a live set designed to create the perfect backing track for drinks receptions, private parties, weddings and corporate events.
