Guideline on how to Design a Music festival for a corporate event
The Summer Events are just around the corner, and the trending theme for 2019 Corporate events is – (drum rolls) – Music Festivals! Although this might sound complicated to organize we have a few great entertainment ideas and pointers on how to create a festival feel at your next corporate event:
Create distinct Areas:
Usually, festivals have different areas that the attendees can enjoy depending on their mood throughout the party.
The main areas should be the Stage, the electronic stage/tent, chill-out nooks plus the food and beverage area (with toilets nearby).
It is important the location of each area is easy to access without lines or wait times, even if they have the greatest time, people tend to cling to issues like wait times.
In each area, for marketing purposes, it is important to have what the kids call “instagrammable moments”, meaning something that compels your guests to take pictures and share them.
Entertainment & Sound Requirements:
The fun part of the planning starts now, but not before another piece of advice: hire a good professional Sound Company, make sure they have all the performers requirements way before the big day, plus book the soundcheck for each act well in advance to make sure they are available to do it at your convenience.
Here are some entertainment recommendations & ideas for your Festival Themed event:
1. Fun and Interactive Greeting Hosts:
There some amazing acts that can welcome your guests into the venue, but I will stick to what is trending for 2019/2020:
Digital Fire Art is a totally safe and customizable show that involves having fire jugglers spinning digital poi sticks, the imagery is adapted to the theme and you can even include some logos/images of your choosing. Check out Digital Fire Art
Robots & Characters for hire is a great way to get some social media sharable moments. From Troopers & Darth Vader to big WOW factor robots like Robot Ted or Brin, or even characters like Iron Man, Batman, Bumblebee (and many more) the world is your oyster. The performers can take selfies with your guests do some dance moves, what we call a party starter!
3. Profile International level + Main Stage Artists:
The main stage is where the magic starts and how you make sure your event is a total success, check out below some of the more popular original Artists perfect for headline positioning, Key Irish Talents can be booked directly with AMA Music Agency.
4. Electronic & DJ Acts:
Silent Headphone Disco is a fun outdoors entertainment option, it allows for two playlists to be played at the same time providing your guests with the choice to change from one playlist to the other by the click of a button on the wireless headsets. The Dj will prepare and play on the day two types of distinct setlists to make sure everything is suitable for your theme and crowd.
Daft Punk Tribute is the best way to go up a notch on your DJ acts, this live DJ duo has been playing all over the World (Germany, China, Austria, France, Portugal, and the list goes on). They offer the true Daft Punk live Dj mix experience, but also cater for your specific audience with a warm-up set to please everyone.
Food and Beverages:
This one is just based on common sense; however, it might not be so obvious in a corporate event. There are two very important pointers to take into consideration: the food needs to be easy to eat standing up with your hands; the beverages can’t run out! I can’t stress this enough, it is better if you choose a small list of beverages to offer and have enough so it lasts through the whole event.
Decorations & Lighting:
It’s really easy to create a festival feel with the decoration, a combination of simple fairy lights and hanging lanterns can light up a chill-out nook in a magical way. A popular decoration item for an outdoors cool festival is bunting, which is both easy to get and inexpensive. These easy tips will make a Coachella look-a-like small festival seem super trendy.
Now to the practical part, it is very important to have all areas and paths well lit, as this a major hazard issue! We don’t any accidents happening to ruin the mood.
