Want some ideas for day two of your wedding?

Day two of a wedding celebration tends to be a bit more relaxing and laid back, the hard bit has been done and dusted so lets kick back and relax. Day two can happen in the same hotel or a private residence it's all the same, and the number of guests has been reduced so it's time for a more intimate session perhaps? You might actually have a bit of a sore head from the night before so no point in bringing in something noisy!!

Weather permitting, why not have a barbeque? with a cool Cuban trio setting the scene. Soft Latin sounds will create a glorious atmosphere for guests, eazy listening with well known songs played in a latin style never fails at any type of event. The Havana Club Trio are perfect for this sort of party so check out their vibe over here.

At a recent wedding in Cork the guests were mostly international, they were expecting some Irish Trad music at some stage of the proceedings. They were in for a lovely surprise on day 2 as a Harpist made an appearance and simply blew them away. They were captivated by her skill and were really thrilled by her performance. Traditional Musicians are hugely popular on the second day and not only for your guests visiting from another country. More Traditional ideas over here.

Spanish and Flamenco Guitarists are another tried and tested option for the second day of celebrations. The sound of a lone Spanish guitar played right can have a soothing effect on guests, it sounds just right and is not too loud. The Latin approach never fails, be it a single musician, duo or trio you can not lose. https://audionetworks.ie/drinks-reception-music/spanish-flamenco-guitarist-2/

If your looking for something a bit more chunky you could use a Live Sax and DJ. The beats will keep the energy up as the sax player creates a cool atmosphere. The DJ can play a selection of downtempo house music or radio friendly hits mixed seamlessly through a small PA system and the saxophone has a clip on radio mic to enhance the sound. The volume is kept low and bass-y but can be upped if needed as more people arrive.

Singing Waiters are not a new idea, however when done right it's like seeing it all for the first time! It is still possible to completely trick all your guests! The element of fun combined with their crazy antics always makes for a great time. From the moment they arrive in the room there is something slightly odd about that waiter as you catch them sipping the wine or arguing with the venue management. Singing Waiters ideas and info over here. Facebook page over here.

Another really funky idea is a Drummer and DJ combo. This is a lively option for inside or out and the energy can be stepped up if required. This act is not a very loud act and a good degree of control can be exercised over the volume. Having said that, drum kits can be quite loud without a PA system but the guys know how get the sound perfect. The Dj and drummer rehearse together regularly and have a groovy selection of tunes in many different genres. The set can run up to one and a half hours and will raise the fun levels in a cool and sophisticated way.
